Education:
J.D. from Washburn University School of Law
Samantha is experienced in advocating for working people in a variety of areas. Before joining O’Brien, Belland & Bushinsky, she fought for the rights of workers in employment discrimination, whistle-blowing, and wage theft litigation. Samantha is also experienced in immigration and landlord-tenant law.
Samantha earned her J.D. from Washburn University School of Law and graduated with honors. She was awarded the Koch Scholar Scholarship, a merit-based scholarship awarded to the top entering law student in each class. In law school, she was a proud participant in the school’s Civil Litigation Clinic, in which she represented low-income individuals in civil litigation. She also interned for the Missouri Public Defender’s office, where she assisted in representing individuals charged with high-level felonies.
