Timothy P. Haggerty, Esq.

Tim is a senior member of the firm and has been a litigator and mediator for 20+ years.  He focuses his practice on divorce, alimony, custody, child support, equitable distribution of assets and debts, college contribution, domestic violence/restraining order trials and adoption.  In addition, he maintains a mediation practice for divorce, custody, support and modification issues.

He has been recognized in Super Lawyers Magazine by his peers.

Tim actively serves as a Matrimonial Early Settlement Panelist.

He practices primarily in Superior Court in New Jersey, and is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association where he is part of the Family Law Section and Dispute Resolution Section.  He is a member of the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators. He is also a member of the Burlington County Bar Association, Camden County Bar Association, Atlantic County Bar Association and Cape May County Bar Association.

Tim obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a Division 1 scholarship athlete. He obtained his Juris Doctorate at Rutgers University School of Law, where he was awarded a Dean’s Merit Scholarship. After law school, he was selected for a judicial clerkship by the Honorable Melvin S. Whitken, the Presiding Judge of Family Part, in Union County, New Jersey.
